FrontLine Service is a private, non-profit organization that provides behavioral, mental health and supportive services to more than 23,000 adults and children in Cuyahoga County each year.
We reach out to Cleveland’s most vulnerable and provide the resources needed to end homelessness, prevent suicide, resolve behavioral health crises, and overcome trauma.
Ending Homelessness
We believe that anyone experiencing homelessness can obtain housing with the appropriate level of assistance or supportive services. Through participation in our outreach, shelter, psychiatric, and supportive services, we aim to promote sustained recovery, independence, and community participation in the lives of those we help.
Resolving Crisis
Life can be difficult for those who are struggling with mental health, substance use, trauma, violence or other challenges that affect our emotional well-being. Whether it is you or someone you are concerned about, we are here 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to help during these difficult times.
Overcoming Trauma
By working closely with those who have experienced or witnessed sexual and/or physical abuse, suicide, or homicide, we provide the intensive clinical services needed to help overcome trauma and to break the cycle of violence in homes and communities across Cuyahoga County.
Success Story | Trauma Programs
After an abusive father figure was sent to jail, Sam and his mother were left without a support system. With FrontLine’s help, they were able to work through this traumatic incident and come out of it stronger together.
Dedicated to change.
The service philosophy of reaching out to those in need is at the core of every Frontline program. We are deeply committed to serving Cleveland’s most vulnerable with empathy and dignity.
From children traumatized by violence to people facing homelessness, and those struggling with mental illness or suicidal thoughts, Frontline Service builds trust and provides client-centered care to address their unique life challenges.
We resolve crises. We change lives. We go out on the front line to reach out to those with the highest barriers and build the necessary trust for them to engage in support.
FrontLine Service is committed to creating a safe and equitable reality for all.
We will move forward with urgency and purpose to create a culture of equity through diversity and inclusion, for our staff, those we serve and our broader communities.
