Ashley Pope, LPCC-S

Director of Family and Young Adult Services

Ashley Pope is the Director of Family, Young Adult, and Rapid Rehousing Services. In this role, she is responsible for leading a team that provides direct service to families and young adults who experience homelessness and complex trauma. She oversees a team of 30 who provide data collection, case management, and psychotherapy services.

Ashley’s passion for serving families was inspired by a work-study experience at an elementary school where she observed the impact of family homelessness and systemic issues on kids’ success in school. She guides her department to identify ways to break the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and trauma within the family systems. She also focuses on identifying and filling gaps in services for Cuyahoga County families who experience homelessness, with the ultimate goal to reduce and prevent trauma exposure.

Ashley joined FrontLine in 2011, serving on the Mobile Crisis Team for three years before transitioning to family programs. She was the program manager for the country’s first county-level Pay For Success initiative, which focused on reducing foster care stays for children whose families experience homelessness.

Ashley chairs FrontLine’s Trauma-Informed Care Committee, which is committed to making sure that trauma-informed care and resiliency are at the forefront of our work with clients, as well as how we treat our team members.

Ashley holds a Master’s in Community Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and she is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory designation.
