Beyond the Storm: The Art of Healing
Beyond the Storm: The Art of Healing was held on Friday, April 13, 2018. Our annual exhibit and fundraiser showcases original artwork created by the children, men and women supported by FrontLine Service. Their artwork is a powerful expression of their hope, struggle and recovery from experiences of homelessness, illness, crisis and trauma.
All event proceeds support programs and services for those that are struggling with homeless, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts, and families that have experienced violence in their homes and community.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and/or supported Beyond the Storm: The Art of Healing this year! With your support we are able to continue to serve the most vulnerable members of our community.
We would like to give a special thank you to our event MC, Jason Nichaolas, Cleveland 19 News Chief Meteorologist.
For those who were unable to attend, or wish to hear the inspiring stories of client artists again, we have compiled the speeches given by FrontLine staff HERE. Our hope is that these stories will provide a glimense into challenges faced by those we serve and resilence that is fostered through our art workshops and art therapy.
In addition to the stories, we have also compiled wonderful pictures of our guests, artwork and prizes from that evening. We encourage you to post any of the pictures to your social media accounts or share them with friends and family. You can find the pictures HERE.
Greeting cards featuring artwork by five of the artists featured at the event are available for purchase. For $25.00 you will receive a pack of 10, 5×7, greeting cards with white envelopes. There is a link to each image below. To purchase cards contact Corrie Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org
