FRONTLINE SERVICE TEAMS WITH GEIGERS TO PROVIDE COATS FOR THE HOMELESS

(November 4, 2016, Cleveland) FrontLine Service, Cuyahoga County’s largest provider of services to help the homeless, has joined forces with Geigers to provide warm coats to the homeless for the upcoming winter.

Geigers stores in Lakewood, Chagrin Falls and Downtown Cleveland will serve as collection points where donors can bring in gently used coats for distribution to the homeless throughout the county. Geigers will provide an incentive to donors – $25 off the purchase of a new coat for each coat donated.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of Geigers. Winter is always such a difficult time for those who are homeless.  The coats that will be donated will make a difference for many children and adults in our community this winter,” FrontLine Service CEO Susan Neth said.

“We are most impressed with the remarkable programs FrontLine provides to the homeless and others throughout the county,” Geigers President Chas Geiger said. “We are proud to team up with them and invite our customers to make a very meaningful donation to a homeless person.”

The program runs from November 9 through November 13 at Geigers at 14710 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood, Geigers in the Chagrin Shopping Plaza in Chagrin Falls, and Geigers Downtown at 1020 Euclid Avenue, next to Heinen’s.

Lakewood and Chagrin Falls are open – Mon.-Thurs. 10am-8pm, Fri.-Sat. 10am-6pm, Sun. Noon-5pm. The Downtown store is open – Mon.-Thurs. 11am-7pm, Fri. 11am-6pm, Sat. 10am-6pm., Sun. 11am-5pm. More information at shopgeigers.com.
